Here is a run down of what is going on in the world of Gundam and what you can expect in the coming months!

Here are some things to look forward to! 1st is the much anticipated Gundam MG release of Deathscythe and a sneak peek on the possible next MG’s from the Wing Series!

Looks like the much awaited Gundam Heavy Arms will be finally released in MG mold – the only question is when. Hope it is a bit sooner! Thanks to Muso’s site for the images and information.

Next up is the new Gundam 00 kits – the HG 1/144 Gundam Zabanya coming out this August 26 for 1890 yen. Check out Muso’s blog for more details on Gundam Zabanya.

Thanks to Gigazine.net, we now can see the full range of armaments the new Chogokin Mazinger-Z has to offer. The main weapons and gimmicks are sold with the main robot, but can be upgraded by a number of weapons – sold separately.

The New Chogokin Mazinger Z robot is priced around 3,675 Yen only, while the additional weapons can be purchased at 1050 Yen – That seems so cheap! Nice!

So for those after high – quality Super Robot Chogokin toys at an affordable price then get Super Chogokin Mazinger Z plus the nice add-ons! Woot!

Good News Digimon fans because SHFiguarts is coming out with D-arts: Digimon Figures!

I am not sure whether it is a kit or a figure, but the initial images of D-arts Digimon from SHfiguarts is way cool! Check them out!

One of the most anticipated Gundam MG Kit from Bandai is surely Gundam Deathscythe from the Wing series. For the past years, I have been eagerly awaiting an MG kit from the Wing Zero series – only the Wing Ver Ka and the Wing Zero Mobile suits have been released in MG.

Besides Gundam Deathscythe, I also look forward to having Heavy Arms in the Master Grade mold – please oh please!!!

For now, I can be content with the thought that MG Deathscythe will be coming soon – it is set for a September release! Nice! Prepare your 3,990 Yen or around 2,000 Pesos! Woot!

Here are some images of Soul of Chogokin GX-03 Combattler V. This was the first SOC Combattler V released – a later version was released last December 09: GX-50 Combattler V.

While the new version is now out in the local toy stores, there is still a considerable number of GX-03 versions for sale.  What I heard with shop owners is that some collectors who have both versions like the old one better. According to feedback, SOX  GX-03 Combattler V is more compact and sturdy.

The Soul of Chogokin GX-03 version is being sold at 5,000 to 6,000 pesos, while GX-50 is sold at 8,000 to 9,000 pesos – depending on the toy store.

Soul of Chogokin Combattler V, Daimos and Voltes V

After Wizard Gundam, the latest SDX Gundam to be spotted in Philippine stores is the SDX Gundam Mask Commander.

You can get this toy at Wasabi toys Greenhills or order it online via their website. This Chogokin is priced at 3,000 pesos.

The next Soul of Chogokin set for release is the GX-54 Tobikage and Kurojishi. Tobikage and Kurojishi is priced at 8,500 Japanese yen or or 4,500 pesos as listed in hobby link japan and is set for a release this July.

This item already has a low stock status at hobby link Japan – probably due to pre-orders.

GX-54 is set to arrive in Philippine shores by next month or Early September, but thanks to this site (hima-toy.cocolog-nifty.com) we can have an initial look at how Chogokin is in terms of transformation and design.
