The latest Super Robot wars for the Nintendo DS is coming out this November.

The game is entitled Super Robot Wars L and will showcase the biggest and the best names in the Super Robot Anime Scene. Based on the trailer on youtube, here is a rundown of what mecha anime’s are present in this game so epic it can only be in Japanese lolx!

Good News for the fans of Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny because the next Perfect Grade Gundam is none other than: Strike freedom which is coming out this December! This is the latest information from the Gundam 30th anniversary website!! Here is an image from Muso’s website.

And in line with that, the next Transformers Master piece is Rodimus prime.  Here is a sneak peek of what the Masterpiece version looks like thanks to Cyber Gundam.

So for those looking to spend on the toys for the big boys, then these are the two big things coming soon: Masterpiece Rodimus Prime and Perfect Grade Gundam Strike Freedom.

Code Geas is one epic epic anime. Masterfully written and beautifully animated it is quite a shame that I only took notice of it lately. Code Geas will leave you wanting for more with its twists and turns plus the engaging persona of Lelouch of the Rebellion.

If you have not seen this mecha anime, then go get a copy now. The original Japanese voicing is excellent so just watch the one with subtitles instead of the English version! Nyahahahaha!

Now when watching Code Geas season 1, you may think that it lacks action and substance in the first few episodes but just stick with it because things will surely pick up quickly as you get to episode 11 and above! Now Code Geas R2 is a different story because it will surely hook you with the story from the get go.

As for mecha freaks out there, the mecha designs are a bit dry for my taste, but this is only second fiddle to the actual premise of the story so it is a non issue.

So for those still looking for a mecha anime with an excellent storyline, Code Geas is the one for you! Woot!

A new Macross Movie is coming to town and the other good news is that it comes with a Macross game with it! Woot!

This is good news for all mecha fans and PS 3 owners because it is exclusive on Sony’s console. The new Macross Frontier movie is entitled The False Diva and it is coming in a hybrid pack. Meaning you get both the movie plus the PS 3 Macross game. Sweet combination indeed!

I have been posting about the much anticipated Another Century Episode R for the Playstation 3 for the past weeks. Needless to say I have been very excited with this new Mecha game for the PS 3 – and yes it has been finally released in Japan!

Based on the website SRW Hotnews, Another Century Episode R or ACE: R is now on sale in Japan as of August 20, 2010. And based on the comments on the site, the game seems to be selling well. I am just hoping that they sell it here soon!! Please oh please!

Anyway while we eagerly await our turn, we can just check out this youtube videos posted by those lucky guys who have the game already! Check em out and drool! lolx!

Here are some upcoming toys that are surely a must buy for all Mecha fans: Transformers animated Rodimus (Hasbro) and Revoltech Yamaguchi 096 Geno Breaker!

These new items will be coming out pretty soon. I believe Revoltech Geno Breaker will be released next month while Transfomers animated Rodimus from Hasbro is coming out soon as well (if not already out now lolx).
