Here are some images of Soul of Chogokin GX-03 Combattler V. This was the first SOC Combattler V released – a later version was released last December 09: GX-50 Combattler V.

While the new version is now out in the local toy stores, there is still a considerable number of GX-03 versions for sale.  What I heard with shop owners is that some collectors who have both versions like the old one better. According to feedback, SOX  GX-03 Combattler V is more compact and sturdy.

The Soul of Chogokin GX-03 version is being sold at 5,000 to 6,000 pesos, while GX-50 is sold at 8,000 to 9,000 pesos – depending on the toy store.

Soul of Chogokin Combattler V, Daimos and Voltes V

After Wizard Gundam, the latest SDX Gundam to be spotted in Philippine stores is the SDX Gundam Mask Commander.

You can get this toy at Wasabi toys Greenhills or order it online via their website. This Chogokin is priced at 3,000 pesos.

The next Soul of Chogokin set for release is the GX-54 Tobikage and Kurojishi. Tobikage and Kurojishi is priced at 8,500 Japanese yen or or 4,500 pesos as listed in hobby link japan and is set for a release this July.

This item already has a low stock status at hobby link Japan – probably due to pre-orders.

GX-54 is set to arrive in Philippine shores by next month or Early September, but thanks to this site (hima-toy.cocolog-nifty.com) we can have an initial look at how Chogokin is in terms of transformation and design.

The composite Ver Ka Gurren Lagann is scheduled for a late July release. Thanks to Ngee Khiong’s blog images of the package are now posted at 1999.co.jp. It is priced at 4,800 Japanese yen or roughly around 2,500 pesos. It is roughly the same size of Gundam Fix Figuration figures.

Revoltech Yamaguchi 093 Blade Liger is now in the local toys stores! Check out Best toys and Jebbs Toy store in Greenhills, San Juan for the latest Revoltech Yamaguchi!

But you guys better hurry because based on my last visit, I only saw 1 stock per shop so they just might go flying out the window! And another thing to note is the price because Revoltech Blade Liger is being sold at 3,300 pesos – 2 times more the regular Yamaguchi price.

So if you really like to have your own Blade Liger that doesn’t need to be pieced together kit style – then go for the Yamaguchi version.

After months of waiting, the next installment in the Gundam Unicorn, Universal century OAV is now just around the corner. For those who want to back track, check out my  review of Gundam UC episode 1 for details. Based on the preview, Gundam Unicorn episode 2 is set for release come November 12, 2010 – so fans would have to wait a wee bit longer, but at least there is a definite date now!

Here is the preview of the upcoming Gundam Unicorn episode – My favorite MG Gundam Sinanju got a lot of screen time on this one! Woot!
